Brattleboro Family Eye Care was started in 1958 when Dr. Richard Revilla opened his optometry practice on Western Avenue. Dr. Revilla originally shared office space with two dentists, eventually moving into his own office at 238 Western Avenue. Dr. Robert Cotter purchased the office in 1992 and moved it to its current location, 328 Western Avenue, in 2003. Since 1992 Brattleboro Family Eye Care has experienced rapid growth, expanding from one doctor and one full-time employee to a staff of ten today.
Robert J. Cotter, O.D. and eye care staff are here to care for all of your vision needs. We handle everything from adult and children's eye exams and hard-to-fit contact lenses, to eye emergencies, treatment of eye diseases and co-management of eye surgery such as LASIK.
Our staff is dedicated to giving you a pleasant experience at our office. We strive for excellence in all aspects of your eye care with one-on-one patient work up, examinations and consultations about eye health, eyewear, eyeglass lenses, and contact lenses. We have created a practice that is community based. We desire to get to know our patients and the community beyond the doors of our office. We look forward to serving your eye care needs!
